My conversation with Tony Mardon is one of the most open and sincere I've had since this project started.
Tony's warmth and natural humour are obvious from the start, but what surprised us both, I think, is the, at times, almost painful honesty with which he addressed the questions. It was a real privilege to share the space with Tony as he openly grappled with questions about his life, success and relevance, and I'm sure the issues discussed in this conversation will resonate with many people.
Tony is a very talented artist. You can see his work by following him on Twitter - @tonymardon
Stories of Our Lives is my project to show how, despite our different beliefs, and all the noise that separates us, we're all just people trying to tell our stories. Through a simple conversation, recorded by video-link, we discuss, well ... you! Who you are and how you negotiate your way through life, and the stories you've made along the way! It's very gentle, and all I'm there to do is listen, and ask questions! :)
