A collection of previously unpublished poems, these twenty-one fragments are a kind of retrospective, a looking back to a different time, a different life, a different me...
Written in my late twenties, early thirties, before fatherhood and the awareness of self that comes with age, they are poems representing a life in search of direction, voice and, yes, love...
As is my quirky way, and with the freedom of increasing years, I have played with the visual design of the poems as they appear on the page. It's nothing too radical, but there are non-traditional layouts, photo images and digital art in the collection. Whether it works or not is for you to decide!
