How can we live a more simple life? In our wonderful group, The A to Z of Simple Living, we create a space of kindness and sharing where you are free to explore your answers to this wonderful question! (That’s a clue, by the way, to how we run our group - we won’t answer the question for you; we can’t. We know you already have the answers inside you!) We’ll lead every session with open hearts, kindness, humour … and a good sprinkling of Three Principles wisdom! We’ll be there to extend the hand of spiritual hospitality, to “speak it good,” and to point our hearts and minds in the direction of peace, joy, simplicity, serendipity, creativity, love, sharing, desire, and a whole alphabet of wonderful feeling words! Yes, we realise that the words we use in talking about ourselves, others and the world, shape and colour the way we see things. That’s why we talk so much about benedire (an Italian word meaning good speaking) and focus on words - good ones, with a positive feel to them, that can open new pathways to simple, more joyful living. Each A to Z session will focus on a letter of the alphabet. The next session, for instance, will focus on the letter R. We then randomly pick a word from a prearranged list, and discuss it from the perspective of ... simple living! So this week we may be discussing the word respect, or maybe readiness, relish, or responsibility ... it’ll be decided, randomly, at the start of the session! Using this simple structure we will explore life from the grounded reality of our physical bodies, to the clarity of our thinking, and the spiritual connectedness to something bigger than ourselves. There’s no special prep needed for our groups, and you don’t have to be a spiritual guru! Just come along, open your heart, and see what comes to you in the moment - now that’s simple!
