About me
I spent four years at the University of Wales, Cardiff, expanding my literary and philosophical horizons and gaining a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature. The English department at UWCC has a special interest in critical and cultural theory, and whilst much of my degree concentrated on the great writers - Shakespeare, Austen, Dickens, Joyce, Beckett - I was also able to research exciting new ideas in postmodern, poststructuralist and deconstructivist theory. In September 2009 I completed my MA in English at the University of Kent.

The spirit of my classes
I am passionate about literature, literary theory and philosophical ideas, and I bring this passion (with a huge amount of enthusiasm!) to my classes. But the classes are not about me, they are about you. That is why I make it a priority to create a comfortable, friendly atmosphere where you can meet with others and share your ideas. The energy and dynamism of a class comes from our group discussions, and I will give you every encouragement to raise points and voice your opinions!

Enjoy the site and I look forward to meeting you in one of my classes!

All the best,

Frank
